A Few of My Favorite Things: February Edition

February is the shortest month of the year, and that’s OK considering it was brutally cold and snowy for a majority of those 28 days here in Chicago. So let’s move on, shall we?

But before we jump into March, let’s reminisce about some of my favorite things from February.

February Favorites from freshandfoodie.com @freshandfoodie

Ham and Cheese Croissants from Bake Chicago
Double Daisy Cutter from Half Acre Beer Company
Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams at Home cookbook
Jumbo Doughnut from Glazed and Infused

  1. That is a really freakin big donut…. I want! And I imagine the cold would suck if you couldn’t escape it, but I have to say, the cold week I had in Chicago over Christmas was one of the best weeks of my life! I’d give just about anything to be back there right now!

  2. I had a lovely time enjoying decadent cups of hot chocolate from The Coffee House in Dallas, Texas! The creamy, sweet hot chocolate was perfect for an unseasonably cold February in Dallas, but I won’t let that stop me from having cups well into Spring!! Thanks for your post!!
